Jennifer Lawrence Injured In Freak Accident During A Stunt

In a surprising incident, Hollywood superstar, Jennifer Lawrence was involved in an accident on the set of a new movie she is starring in. The accident happened when an explosion stunt in the film went completely off course.

The production of the film, Don’t Look Up, which also stars Leonardo DiCaprio had to be stopped temporarily after the incident happened. The accident happened on Friday on the Boston set of the movie.

 According to a source that witnessed the accident, the explosion was meant for a stunt scent where glass shatters, but things took the wrong turn when fragments of the shattering glass hit Jennifer Lawrence in the eye.

Neither the Director of the film, Adam Mckay or the actress’s reps have made any comment about the incident. However, reports reaching us from Page Six states that it is a minor incident, and she is expected to be fine.

In the film, Jennifer Lawrence plays the role of an astronomer attempting to sound the alarm and warn people that the safety of the earth is currently threatened by an asteroid that is approaching.

The film also stars Jonah Hill, Cate Blanchet, Kid Cudi, Matthew Perry, and Ariana Grande.

Back in November, the 30-year-old academy award winner lost her farm in Kentucky to a fire. The farm also contained a summer camp which was destroyed in the incident. Just days after that, she was seen on the set of Don’t Look Up in Boston. shooting a scene with the signature red hair of her character in the movie.

She played Mystique in X-men and was the lead character in Hunger Games, a film which established her as a global star and grossed more $690 million worldwide to become one of the top-grossing movies with a female lead.
